The Morar estuary sits at the northern end of the famous “Silver Sands of Morar” a spectacular, sunlit stretch of coastline in the Scottish Highlands. The River Morar itself is one of the shortest rivers in Britain, connecting the sea to deep, isolated Loch Morar. This drawing was the result of a long walk on a bright breezy day with ominous clouds sweeping in from the Atlantic.
