Storm Clouds Gathering

This is a monotype print, meaning it is a unique, one-of-a-kind image with no copies. It was hand-printed using oil-based inks on archival paper.

This image was inspired by a visit to the Western Isles of Scotland, where I watched the clouds rolling in from the Atlantic with the extrordinary light providing a backdrop to the rain as it fell in sheets across the sea. Although observed from the land, I have also sailed through many dramatic storms at sea.
